CHANGE!

.....
The prerequisites for change:
The organisation is in pain;
There is a solution available;
Key people on the ground are able and willing to act as agents of change;
Senior management support the change exercise.

The execution of the change:
A lot of careful planning and thought goes into the change;
this is coupled with extensive communication at all levels;
the engineering community is fully involved in the change;
everyone affected by the change receives training and documentation.

Strange Fruit

Look at the faces of these people.
Who are we?

Strange Fruit
by
Lewis allen
Southern trees bear strange fruit,
Blood on the leaves and blood at the root,
Black bodies swinging in the southern breeze,
Strange fruit hanging from the poplar trees.
Pastoral scene of the gallant south,
The bulging eyes and the twisted mouth,
Scent of magnolias, sweet and fresh,
Then the sudden smell of burning flesh.
Here is fruit for the crows to pluck,For the rain to gather,
for the wind to suck,
For the sun to rot, for the trees to drop,
Here is a strange and bitter crop.

Give a little bit!

It's moving how some people are giving.

Give a little bit
Give a little bit of your love to me
Give a little bit
I'll give a little bit of my love to you
There's so much that we need to share
Send a smile and show you care
I'll give a little bit
I'll give a little bit of my life for you
So give a little bit
Give a little bit of your time to me
See the man with the lonely eyes
Take his hand, you'll be surprised
Give a little bitGive a little bit of your love to me
I'll give a little bit
I'll give a little bit of my life for you
Now's the time that we need to share
So find yourself, we're on our way back home
Going home...Don't you need to feel at home?
Oh yeah, we gotta sing

Cadaver

A turning point in my life was when I beheld my first cadaver. My first reaction was not fear, but anger. Do we need to go this far to learn human anatomy?
"These are people who have donated their bodies to the university. When the dissection is over, they're gone be cremated and their families are invited to participate in their memorial ceremony with the students."

Cadaver

Last night I had a dream.
A brief repose from my wide-eyed dreads.
I went floating down a stream.
And then the waters turned to red.

I heard you laugh in mockery.
Delighted with my pain.
Your blazing eyes stared down on me.
And seared my open veins.

I sought out asylum.
But the wounds never mend.
If you love me at all.
Then please.
Just let it end.

Tortured when I wake.
Haunted while I sleep.
When will I be released?
When will I finally rest in peace?

Eviscerate me.
Desecrate me.
Nail me to your cross unblessed.
You've crucified my sanity.
My heart.
My soul.
So now just take the rest.

I kid myself.
Because I know my fate.
I've read the epitaph.
Upon my slate.

"He wanted love, but could not have her."
"So here he lies in state."
"As her cadaver."
